How many color options do you offer?

We carry over 40 pre-mixed flake blend options spanning earth tones, grays, blues, greens, reds, and multi-color combinations. If you do not see exactly what you want, we can create a custom blend by mixing different flake colors together. During your free estimate, we bring physical color samples so you can see the actual flakes against your concrete and lighting conditions.

Are decorative flake floors as durable as solid epoxy?

Yes — in many cases, even more so. The vinyl flakes add thickness and mass to the coating system, creating a thicker overall floor build. Combined with the same 100% solids epoxy base coat and UV-stable polyaspartic clear coat used in all our systems, a full-broadcast flake floor is one of the most durable coating options available. It handles vehicles, chemicals, and heavy use with ease.

Will the flakes come loose or shed over time?

No. After the flakes are broadcast into the wet epoxy base coat, any loose or excess flakes are scraped off. The remaining flakes are then permanently sealed under the polyaspartic clear coat. They are fully encapsulated and bonded into the floor system. They will not come loose, shed, or wear away under normal use, including vehicle traffic.
